Welcome to the Owners’ Corner, where we take a look week by week at all the owners in the league. This week we turn our focus Sam.

First Impressions:  The first time I met Sam, I recognized something familiar. High strung, easily agitated, a bit tyrannical, and very Jewish – I couldn’t quite put my finger on who he reminded me of though. I both hated him and felt one with him all at the same time. Fantasy wise, I feel like Sam brings a vibe to fantasy that isn’t always the best, even when its not the intention. Sam people join fantasy to win titles and some people do it to bring people together. With two seasons in the cellar, Sam seems to be the latter, but somebody has to do it.

Photo Game: Sam’s got less internet presence than 13-year old Jake had game so we’re left with his work profile pic, but even this made me laugh. Something about this picture is off but I can’t quite put my finger on it. Is his head disproportionately small? Is his jaw disproportionately large compared to his forehead? Is it the black funeral suit paired with the newborn parent smile? Is it the eyes that look like Loc’s on draft night after a few too many pow-wows with Mike? Maybe it is just all of the above.
